Our company has started in the year 1997 by introducing compatible ink cartridge first time in India for Epson and Canon. Being new in this field, it was very difficult to sell these cartridges as the cost between OEM & compatible products was substantial and margins were tempting. Further, in the year 1999, our company started remanufacturing of inkjet cartridge with a limited range. The filling machines were then imported to produce a good quality product. Our company strived hard to make awareness about remanufactured cartridge.

We made a commitment to produce quality product with a cost difference of almost 40% to 50% less than OEM, with product delivering the equivalent results. In the year 2000, we entered overseas market for exporting re-manufactured inkjet and toner cartridges. Presently, more people are inclined to get their cartridges recycled, thus opening good opportunity for our business.

Our company has a well equipped manufacturing unit, which is spread over an area of 2500 sq. feets. We have installed up dated machines such as steam cleaning equipment, steam cleaning machines, laser printer opc drums, cartridge filling machines etc., which enables us in the proper remanufacturing of inkjet & laser cartridges. Our team of experienced employees & engineers are efficiently handling this manufacturing unit and are continuously improving & growing our production.

Further, we have two manufacturing units, which helps in the manufacturing of 10000 toner cartridges & 10,000 inkjet cartridges per month. Having our two factories at Mumbai and Delhi, we are planning to set two more units in the eastern sector and southern sector. Also, we are planning to have franchise outlets in due course.We have invested around 10 million rupees and will be further investing another 10 million in expansion in another one year or more.

What does STMC mean?

STMC stands for the Standardized Test Methods Committee which is administered by International Image Technology Council based in USA. This global committee formed to find and promote standardized test methods for the printer cartridge industry. The test methods are used to evaluate toner printer cartridge performance. Standardized test methods make it possible to evaluate a cartridge anywhere and come up with the same test results no matter who tests it. Standardized tests do not specify how a cartridge must perform; they only measure it.

How are the standards set and what is the scope of comparison?

The STMC test methods is drawn and has accepted several ASTM International test methods like ASTM F1856 for yield, and ASTM F 2036 for image density and background as well as ISO, ISTA, and ANSI test methods which also covers the scope of packaging of the product. The test methods are used to evaluate a finished cartridge in comparison to another cartridge, typically an OEM cartridge.
